The Secretary General of State Council  
 
The General Secretariat according to the Article 5 of the State Council and Majlis A’ Shura regulations, each shall have a Secretariat, headed by a Secretary-General. The General Secretariat is the technical, administrative and financial department that performs the necessary tasks to assist the Council in exercising its duties.

 

  • He attends and assists the Council sittings and the Council Bureau meetings in accordance with article 45 of the Council's rules of Procedure.
  • The Secretary-General supervises and distributes the work to all the Assisting General secretariats, services and sections of the Secretariat and reports to the Chairman of the Council on the progress of work.
  • The Secretary-General has other terms of reference, including attendance at meetings of the Council and meetings of the Bureau and the committees, in order to supervise prepare a list of meetings of the Council and a meeting of the Bureau in accordance with rule 47 of the Council's rules of Procedure.
  • The Secretary General supervises the administrative, financial and technical departments of the Council.
  • The Assistant General Secretariats are   subordinate to the Secretary-General of the Council.

  1. Assistant General Secretariat for Sessions and Committees Affairs.
  2. Assistant General Secretariat for Legislative and Legal Affairs.
  3. Assistant General Secretariat for Financial and Administrative Affairs.
