The working team formed by the Council for dialogue with start-up companies in various sectors organized a virtual meeting with a number of start-ups operating in the education sector, headed by Hon.Dr Maryam bint Abdullah bin Rajab Al Awadiyah, Committee Head and the honorable committee members along with a number of staff of the General Secretariat.
These meetings come within the framework of the work plan of the Council's Technology and Innovation Committee to study the draft law on investment in technology and innovation, and in line with the Sultanate’s drive to achieve economic diversification with its various pillars, including the technology and communications sectors.
It is noteworthy that the study aims to identify the perspectives of these companies towards the legislation in force related to the technology and communications sectors, and to survey the national capabilities in innovation for the development of the two sectors as key enablers to achieve economic diversification.
It is noteworthy that the Council has formed a special working group for dialogue with start-up companies in various sectors, believing in the importance of community participation with various relevant authorities to benefit from the product of their experiences and insights.
