The team representing State Council attended the award ceremony held at Grand Hyatt Hotel and Resort-Amman, Jordon on 19 June 2012, in collaboration with National Support-center for documentation, league of Arab states and Microsoft, in addition to VIPs in the ICT field, government entities as well as economists, academicians, diplomats, bankers, media and many other distinguished guests from the Pan Arab Region.
State Council's Facebook page is a medium to disseminate information among citizens about the State Council with hopes that the information helps all to understand Oman's governance. It firmly believes that more knowledge and awareness will make them better informed.
It shares status updates, photos, and other news which is also published in the print media and has visitors from Oman, US, Egypt, UAE, Uganda, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, UK, Japan and France.
The award was handed over to H.E. Khalid Bin Salim Al Saidi, the Secretary General of State Council.
